"The Year of the Wolf", the direct and harmonious successor of "The Memory of a Warm Embrace", took more than three months and almost 40GB of audio recordings to get done. It's warm, a bit obscure, wildly experimental and hiding an unexpected gentle nature. It channels both my confidence and my insecurities, and I really hope that you'll get caught in its narrative.
The sound of this record is also unique. Most of it has been recorded on a thirty-year-old tape, the rest using cassettes and a small, portable reel-to-reel tape deck. It took a tremendous effort but the result is something I'm very proud of.
